Brazilian artist Antonio Peticov lived for twelve years in Milan, Italy where he studied printmaking as well as the mathematical and artistic theories, such as perspective, of the Renaissance masters. In the 1980s working with Serigelli, one of Italy's preeminent silkscreen pioneers, he created some of his finest serigraphs at Studio Tre in Milan. Two of them are offered here. We also have an etching he printed on hand made paper as well as a lithograph. Later he moved to New York and more recently to Sao Paolo, where he is creating a number of large public art works. His signature colors of the spectrum, are for him, the colors of creation.
